Step 1: Click on the “NEW REGISTRATION” button located at the top right corner of the homepage of the IBPS, @ibps.in.

Step 2: Begin your application by entering basic details such as your name, contact number, email ID, address, etc., and proceed by clicking on the save and next button.

Step 3: Upload your photograph and signature in the specified format. The photograph should be passport-sized, measuring 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm, and both the image and signature must be clear and readable. The allowed file size for the photograph is between 20 KB and 50 KB, while the signature should be between 10 KB and 20 KB.

Step 4: Proceed by entering your educational details and professional qualifications. After completing this section, click on the save and next button.

Step 5: Carefully review your application form, as no edits will be possible after submission. Once reviewed, click save and next.

Step 6: Pay your application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 7: Finally, click on the Final Submit button to complete your application. Upon successful submission, you will receive an email and a text message from IBPS with your registration ID and password for future logins on the official website.

IBPS SO 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are interested in applying for the posts of IBPS SO in various departments can go through the minimum IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria below in terms of Nationality, Educational Qualification, and age limit.

IBPS SO Nationality

The candidate who is going to apply for the IBPS SO 2025 exam should have citizenship of India issued by the government of India. The following candidates can also apply for the IBPS SO 2025 exam:

• a subject of Nepal or
• a subject of Bhutan or
• a Tibetan Refugee, who came to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India or
• Persons migrated from India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India, along with the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

The education qualification for IBPS SO for various posts is as follows:

1. I.T. Officer (Scale-I)

• 4-year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics &
  Instrumentation OR
• Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR
• Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

2. Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I)

• 4-year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/Fishery Science/Pisciculture/Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/Co-operation & Banking/Agro-Forestry/Forestry/Agricultural-Biotechnology/Food-Science/Agriculture Business-Management/Food-Technology/Dairy-Technology/Agricultural-Engineering/ Sericulture

3. Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I)

• Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR
• Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.

4. Law Officer (Scale-I)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

5. HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I)

• Graduate and Two Years Full-time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full-time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law

6. Marketing Officer (Scale-I)

• Graduate and Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time PGDBA / PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing.
