NICL or National Insurance Corporation Ltd. is one of the most prestigious Insurance Company of India. NICL conducts NICL AO Exam every year to recruit eligible candidates to the post of Administrative Officer (Officer in Scale I Cadre). NICL AO 2019 will be conducted shortly with the same agenda of recruiting bright minds in the country to the post of AO in one of the many branches of National Insurance Corporation Ltd.
NICL AO Notification 2019
The notification for NICL AO 2019 exam will be released shortly. The total number of vacancies expected this year for the post of AO is 450+. NICL AO 2019 Exam Dates
NICL AO 2019 will constitute of both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam, the dates for which will be announced in the official Notification. NICL AO 2019 Exam Pattern
Questions asked in both the papers of NICL 2019 exam are Objective Multiple Choice Type. In addition to the objective paper asked in Mains exam, a descriptive paper of 30 marks will also be asked. NICL 2019 Exam will be conducted in three phase: Preliminary exam will be conducted first followed by Mains Exam. After the declaration of result of Mains Exam, interviews will be conducted for the selected students to determine the final selection for the post of Associate Officer through NICL 2019 exams.

Descriptive Test
The Descriptive Test will contain 3 questions asked in English that will carry a total of 30 marks and has to be completed in 30 minutes.
Final Selection
An Interview Process will be conducted for all the candidates clearing the Mains Exam to determine the final selection of the candidate to the post of Assistant Officer through NICL AO 2019 Exam.
Penalty for wrong answers
Preliminary Exam: 0.25 marks will be deducted everytime an answer is marked wrong by a candidate. No marks will be deducted if a question is left blank or un-answered.
Mains Exam: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question marked wrong by a candidate. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank or un-answered.
NICL AO Eligibility 2019
There are basic 3 criteria which a candidate needs to fulfill to be eligible for NICL AO 2019 Exam.
- A candidate is required to be either a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- A candidate is required to hold a valid Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% and above from a recognized university for NICL 2019 exam.
- A candidate is also required to be aged between 21-30 years while applying for this exam.

NICL AO Syllabus 2019
Preliminary exam of NICL 2019 Exam will have 3 major sections namely Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Mains examination will have more or less same syllabus as that of preliminary exam with an inclusion of a descriptive test in English comprising of 30 marks. Apart from these two papers, an interview will be conducted for selected candidates.

NICL 2019 Admit Card
The admit card for NICL 2019 Preliminary Exam will be released after the exam for the same has been conducted. The admit card for NICL 2019 Mains exam will be issued to candidates who qualify the preliminary round of NICL 2019 exam.
NICL Exam 2019 Results
The results for NICL 2019 Exam will be released after each phase of the exam is completed. The result for preliminary exam will be declared first followed by the result of mains exam. The merit list will be prepared in the descending order of the marks obtained by candidates in the final interview round.

The cut-off for NICL 2019 Exam will be released after each phase of examination is completed.
