The CA Foundation Online Coaching is an offline test consisting of 4 papers. The CA Foundation course is the initial level, where you study the principles of accounting, quantitative aptitude, business law, and business economics. Candidates have to appear for or pass the 10+2 exam to be eligible to sit in this exam.

CA Foundation Exam Pattern 

The CA Foundation exam is the entry-level examination for the Chartered Accountancy course in India. It consists of two levels with a total of four papers. The exam pattern is designed to test fundamental knowledge in various areas of accounting and finance.

Level 1: Papers 1 and Paper 2

• Paper 1: Principles and Practice of Accounting, worth 100 marks. The paper assesses the candidate's knowledge of accounting principles, the compilation and presentation of financial accounts, and various accounting standards.
• Paper 2: Business Law, Business Correspondence, and Reporting is worth the same 100 marks. The same paper counts themes related to business regulations, business ethics, communication skills, and the fundamentals of business correspondence.

Level 2: Paper 3 and Paper 4

• Paper 3: Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics, worth 100 marks. This paper assesses the candidates' competency in mathematical principles, logical thinking, and statistical procedures.
• Paper 4: Business Economics and Commercial Knowledge, worth 100 marks. This paper consists of microeconomics, macroeconomics, economics, and business and commercial knowledge.
