CDS or Combined Defence Service is conducted twice every year by Union Public Service Commission of India for recruiting eligible candidates and train them to become budding officers in IMA, INA, AFA or OTA. Application for both Male & Female candidates are invited for this exam. A candidate must fall into the required eligibility category for the exam and must clear Written Exam and SSB to get selected as the Officers in Defence Services. UPSC conducts National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Exam twice every year. The exam is conducted at 10+2 level for eligible male candidates for admission to the National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla, near Pune where they undergo 3 year rigorous course of training in various arms and physical standards. After the candidate completes this course, the cadet proceeds to IMA (Indian Military Academy), Dehradun or INA (Indian Naval Academy), Ezhimala or AFA (Air Force Academy), Hyderabad to complete their one year training before starting their tenure as Officers in Defence Services. to know morre about the exam, click on below mentioned link
AFCAT Exam is conducted twice every year to select candidates to the post of:
Candidates applying for Technical Post in Ground Duty Branch needs to give EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) along with Written exam. Candidates have to go through a PABT Test as the first round SSB. Indian Coast Guard Exam is conducted for Navik, Yantrik & Officer Cadre. Indian Coast Guard is responsible for the defence of territorial waters of India. For the selection to the post of Assistant Commandant in Indian Coast Guard, a candidate must be a graduate, must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam and must qualify the Written Exam & Interview Process.

UPSC conducted CAPF or Central Armed Police Force exam to select eligibile candidates to the following paramilitary posts:
To apply for this exam, a candidate must be a graduate and must fulfill the required eligibility criteria for the exam. the exam will be conducted in three stages: Written Exam, Physical & Medical Test, Personal Interview. KCandidates who successfully qualify all these three rounds of Recruitment Process will be selected for the above mentioned posts.
For the recruitment of Airmen in Group X & Y, an exam is conducted every year by Indian Air Force. The Exam is conducted for 10+2 level and the Airmen can rise to the post of Commissioned Officers, provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same.
