About Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi

Admiral Tripathi was born on 15 May 1964, and studied at Sainik School Rewa and the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. He joined the executive branch of the Indian Navy on 1 July 1985, and has served for nearly 39 years. His career highlights include:

Holding leadership roles such as Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command and Vice Chief of the Naval Staff
