The Army Medical Corps has opened the registration portal for the candidates to apply online for the Armed Forces Medical Services. Candidates who have passed their final MBBS (Part-I & II) examination,  complete / have completed their internship on or before 15 Aug 2024, and have qualified in the NEET PG can fill out the application online starting the 16th of July 2024 by visiting the official website of the Army Medical Corps. For the AFMS Medical Officer, Candidates who are aged not more than 30 years are eligible to apply. After filling the application form, the candidates will be shortlisted for the interview process. AFMS Medical Officer Notification 2024

The Armed Forces Medical Service has released the short notice to recruit the candidates as the Medical Officer in the Indian Armed Forces Medical Corps. The Official Notification will soon be released on the official website. According to the short notice, both male and female candidates can apply for Medical Officer if they fulfill the established standard. AFMS Medical Officer 2024, Apply Online

Candidates who are eligible for the post of AFMS Medical officer have to apply online. The Application will be accepted online only. To apply online, Candidates have to open the website www.amcsscentry.gov.in and click on the “NEW REGISTRATION” button. Candidates can apply online from the date to 16th July 2024 till the date of 4th August 2024.

AFMS Medical Officer Vacancy

The Army Medical Corps has released a total of 450 Vacancies for the post of AFMS Medical Officer. Out of which 338 vacancies are available for Male MBBS qualified candidates and 112 Vacancies are available for the female MBBS Qualified Candidates.

Age limit

Male and Female candidates who are holding MBBS degree can apply for the position of Medical Officer in the Armed Forces Medical Services. It is necessary that a candidate should not have attained the age limit of 30 Years when they have MBBS Degree. If a candidate is holding PG degree, he/she should not have attained the age of 35 years.

Educational Qualification

According to the official notification, Candidates interested in joining the Armed Forces as the Medical Officer should hold a MBBS degree. Candidates holding a Post Graduate degree can also apply for the post of Medial Officer in the Indian Army. The applicant must possess medical qualification included in the National Medical Council Act, 2019. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/NMC/MCI. Post graduate degree holders recognized by State Medical Council /NBE/NMC can also apply.

AFMS Medical Officer Selection Process 2024

The Medical Officers will be selected on the basis of Interview. The AFMS has released the time period in which they will conduct the Interview of the Men and Women Candidates who have MBBS Degree. Candidates have to register themselves once the application process begin. The Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview process that is scheduled to be conducted in the month of August/ September 2024.

Admit Card for AFMS Interview

The Admit Card for the AFMS Medical Officer Interview will be made available on the official website of Army Medical Corps www.amcsscentry.gov.in only. Candidates can download their admit card one week prior to the interview dates. The Interview for the AFMS will be conducted from  28th August 2024 onwards. The Interview will be conducted at the Army Hospital ( R & R) Delhi Cantt.

• Register using your email to receive the Registration number and OTP (One-Time Password).
• Proceed to the “Apply 2nd Step” and enter the provided Registration number and OTP.
• Complete the application form with accurate details.
• Upload all the required documents.
• Make the application fee payment.
• Review the application form and submit it.
• Take a printout of the Application Form for future reference
