Agniveer First Batch Passing Out Parade for Graduates
After 4 months of hard work and dedication, the first batch of Agniveers has passed out from their training program. The program, which lasted four months, comprised of 2585 Agniveers. Agniveer Passing out parade was held at INS Chilka in Odisha.
The Agniveer training program is a unique initiative in which Agniveers have been trained for deployement on frontline warships for sea training. Naval chief Admiral R Hari Kumar took the salute from the first batch of Agniveers in the passing out parade. Rajya Sabha MP PT Usha, a noted former athlete, and cricketer Mithali Raj were also present at the Agniveer Passing Out Parade program.
The first batch of Agniveers comprised of 2585 participants, out of which 272 were female agniveers. All of them have developed strong foundation of knowledge, and are willing to excel in their careers.
The Passing Out Parade was held at the INS Chilka in Odisha, and it was a joyous occasion for everyone involved. The participants were awarded certificates of completion and were congratulated by Naval chief Admiral R Hari Kumar. The ceremony was also attended by family members and supporters of the graduates.
