Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

Assam Rifles are recruiting candidates for the post of Technical and Tradesman Rally 2023 for a total of 161 vacancies. This is a 3 stage of selection process that includes:

• PMT & PET
• Skill Test / Trade Test
• Written Exam
• Documentation
• Medical Exam

After the candidate has successfully cleared all the levels, the Merit list will be announced of the final selected candidates for the post of Assam Riffles Technical and Tradesman 2023.

Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern

• The question paper of written test will comprise of 100 marks. There will be four sections i.e. English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
• Each section carries 25 questions and each question carries one mark.
• The minimum pass marks for General/EWS candidates is 35% and 33% marks for SC/ST/OBC
  candidates
• The written examination will be conducted in offline mode.
• The candidates who are successful in the PET/PST/Documentation/ Trade (Skill) test/Written test will be shortlisted to the next stage i.e. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) based on their merit in the Written test will be about 4 times the number of vacancies.

Assam Rifles Physical Standard Test(PST)

Physical Standard Test for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 includes the measurement of height of all candidates and chest measurement of only male candidates.

Assam Rifles Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

PET will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in initial verification of the documents. The physical Efficiency Test will test the running capability of the candidates. The different criteria for running for both males and females are tabulated below.

The Assam Rifles will provide the salary to the candidates after getting selected ranges between Rs. 18,000 – Rs.69,100/. This is the tentative Salary being provided here. The Assam Rifles has the right to make any changes in the advertisement or cancel it without stating any reasons.
