The Physical tests for Assam Rifles Tradesman recruitment in 2023 will assess the candidates’ physical fitness, endurance, and agility. The tests will be conducted in two stages, the physical measurement test, and the physical efficiency test.

The candidates who qualify in the physical tests will be eligible for the written test. Assam Rifles Tradesman Physical Test Details 2023

Physical tests are an essential part of the recruitment process for any defence force. The physical tests for Assam Rifles Tradesman will assess the candidates’ physical fitness, endurance, and agility. The tests will be conducted in two stages, the first stage will be a physical measurement test, and the second stage will be a physical efficiency test.

Assam Rifles Physical Standard Test(PST)

Physical Standard Test for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 includes the measurement of the height of all candidates and chest measurement of only male candidates.

Relaxation in Chest – 

• Male applicants belonging to the ST category must have a minimum chest of 76cms (with a minimum 5 cms expansion).
• For male applicants from Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas, as well as those from the states of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, the minimum chest requirement is 78 cms (with a minimum 5 cms expansion).
• Male applicants from the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura, and Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) must have an unexpanded chest of at least 77 cms (with a minimum 5 cms expansion).

Assam Rifles Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

PET will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in the initial verification of the documents. The physical Efficiency Test will test the running capability of the candidates. The different criteria for running for both males and females are tabulated below.

Please note that No Physical Efficiency Test will be held for ex-Servicemen, However, Ex-Servicemen will be required to pass the requisite Medical Examination.
