The selection process for various posts in the Border Roads Organization (BRO) varies depending on the job profile. 1. Written Exam: The next step is a written exam which is conducted to test the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude for the specific job profile. The written exam is generally an objective type test and covers subjects such as General Intelligence, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, General Awareness, and subject-specific questions.
2. Physical Test: For some posts, such as Operator Communication, Radio Mechanic, and MSW Driller, a physical test is conducted to test the candidate’s physical fitness and ability to perform the job duties.
3. Skill Test: For some posts, such as MSW Painter, a skill test is conducted to test the candidate’s ability to perform the job duties. The skill test may involve painting or other relevant skills.

BRO Written Exam Pattern 2023

• The question paper will carry 100 marks and it will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi
• The objective type Questions will be OMR based and subjective questions have to be answered in the answer sheet.
• The question paper will be answered in blue/black ballpoint pen only.
• The syllabus for the written examination will generally be in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical and other requisite essential qualifications prescribed for the posts.
