BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2022: Eligibility

FOR DEPUTATION FROM CENTRAL ARMED POLICE – 

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department: or

(ii) With five years of regular service in the grade of Head Constable in the scale of Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20,200 plus grade pay Rs. 2400/-(Pre-revised) and Revised Pay Level -4 in the pay matrix (Rs 25,500-81,100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department: and

(b) Possessing the following professional and technical qualifications:

(i) Three years Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical engineering from an Institute recognized by the Government; or Industrial Training Institute Certificate in respective trade:

(ii) Basic Training including Map Reading Standard-I

(iii) Medical Category SHAPE-1

FOR EX-SERVICEMEN (DEPUTATION/RE-EMPLOYMENT)

The Armed forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience as under shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces: thereafter they may be continued on re-‘employment:-

(a)The applicant must meet the following criteria:

(i) Matriculation or 10″ class pass from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent; and

(ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in respective trade; or Three-year experiences in respective

trade and grade in the Armed Forces; and

(iii)Medical Category SHAPE-1/ equivalent in Armed Forces.

MANDATORY ARMY TECHNICAL COURSES FOR DEPUTATION / RE-EMPLOYMENT AS HC (TECHNICAL) FROM ARMED FORCES IN BSF SMT WORKSHOP

The candidate should have qualified for the following Army Technical courses as prescribed by the Directorate General of EME (Training), New Delhi: –
