Air Force Common Admission Test is a Graduate level exam conducted twice a year by Indian Air Force for the recruitment in the Flying branch, Ground duty ( Technical and Non-technical entry). Aspirants who wish to apply for the AFCAT Exam should have a graduate degree or should be in the last year of the graduation.
No, you cannot apply for AFCAT as a 12th pass candidate. You must complete your graduation or should be in last year before applying for the AFCAT exam.
How Many Marks Are Required In 12th Class For AFCAT?
If an aspirant wants to apply for Flying branch, Ground duty Technical branches or in Ground duty Non-Technical branches excluding Meteorology. He/She should score a minimum 50% in 12th class for AFCAT. In case, A candidate desires to join in the Ground duty Non- technical Meteorology branch. He/She should have scored at least 60% in the 10+2 level.
Candidates who have scored more than 50% in 12th standard and hold a graduation degree with minimum 60% are eligible to apply for AFCAT.
