Yes, A candidate can apply for AFCAT Exam even though they are in the Last year of College. However, there are some criteria a candidate should fulfill to be eligible when they are in their last year of college. We are providing all the criteria a candidate needs to fulfill.
While filling the Examination form, a candidate should not have any backlog in any Previous Semesters. He /She should have scored minimum of 60% up to the last semester. You will be asked to submit your Graduation certificate after clearing the examination as the important document before 31 May 2025. No request for extending this date will be entertained on the grounds of
late conduct of basic qualifying University Examination
- There should not be any active backlog in any of the previous semesters
- You must have scored a minimum of 60% till the last semester .
- Once you get selected you should be able to provide your graduation certificate before the date mentioned in the notification.
- You must be satisfying the age criterion mentioned in the notification.
- You have to submit the Degree by the last date mentioned by IAF.
- No request to extend the date will be entertained.

AFCAT Eligibility
Here we are providing you a detailed Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT exam. The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the AFCAT Exam:

- Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relax-able up-to 26 years
- Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years
