The answer is a big yes, we repeat a final year student is eligible for applying into AFCAT exam but there are certain things to keep in mind .
- There should not be any active backlog in any of the previous semesters
- You must have scored a minimum of 60% upto the last semester .
- Once you get selected you should be able to provide your graduation certificate before the date mentioned in the notification.
- You must be satisfying the age criterion mentioned in the notification.

AFCAT Eligibility
Here we are providing you a detailed account of eligibility for AFCAT exam .
The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the AFCAT Exam:

- Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2003(both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relax-able up-to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
(c) Educational Qualifications:

Ground Duty Technical Branch | Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) | Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year degree in graduation/integrated or post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university. OR
Those who have cleared examination of associate membership of the institution of engineers (India) in both A and B section, with a minimum of 60% in certain disciples as prescribed by IAF.

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) | Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university. OR
Those who have cleared the examination of associate membership of the institution of engineers (India) in both A and B section, with a minimum of 60% in certain disciples as prescribed by IAF.
