The CDS 2 Exam 2024 will be conducted Nation Wide on same day in three Shifts for each subject: The timings for CDS English is (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM). The Time allotted for CDS General Knowledge Exam is (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM), and the Duration for the CDS Mathematics Exam is (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM). CDS 2 Exam Timings and Schedule 2024
To Avoid any last minute unfavorable incidents, Candidates should arrive at the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the CDS exam. The CDS examination is a single-day offline exam where candidates mark their answers on an OMR sheet. The Written examination for CDS 2 2024 will be held in three shifts.
- In the 1st Shift, candidates must take the English Section, which is mandatory for all.
- The 2nd Shift covers the General Knowledge Section, which is also compulsory for all candidates.
- The 3rd Shift is dedicated to the Mathematics Section. Unlike the other sections, this one is optional, and candidates are not required to attempt it unless they choose to.
Candidates opting for the OTA Entry (Officers Training Academy) need only participate in the 1st and 2nd shifts of the examination. Male candidates opting for IMA (Indian Military Academy), INA (Indian Naval Academy), or AFA (Air Force Academy) must additionally appear for the 3rd shift, specifically the Mathematics Section, in the CDS 2 2024 examination. All shifts of the examination take place on the same day.
