CDS Result 2023 has been declared by UPSC on 4th May 2023. A total of 6518 candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for the course commencing in April 2024. The Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year to recruit candidates for various positions in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The CDS examination 2023 has been conducted on 16th April and candidates who appeared for the exam can check their CDS Result 2023. Steps to Check CDS Result 2023

• 1st step: Go to the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
• 2nd step: Click on the drop-down menu of “examination” CDS Result 2023.
• 3rd step: Here, click on “active examination” button.
• 4th step: Now, links for all the active examinations will appear. Click on the link given in “Combined Defence Service (I), 2023”.

UPSC CDS 1 Merit List 2023

UPSC CDS 1 Merit list is prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam and their performance in the subsequent rounds of selection, which include the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview and medical examination. Candidates who secure a place on the merit list are eligible for further selection and training to become officers in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force, depending on their choice and eligibility.

Once the selection process is over, the merit list will be released. As soon as the UPSC CDS 1 Merit list is out by UPSC, we will update you here.

What After CDS Result 2023?

• Stage 1 consists of officer intelligence rating, picture perception, and description test.
• Stage 2 involves a psychology test, interview, group testing officer task, and conference.

Candidates who qualify in the CDS Result 2023 written examination and are given their first choice as Army (IMA/OTA) are required to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in in order to enable them to receive call up information for SSB Interview. Those candidates who have already registered on the recruiting directorate website are advised not to register again.

CDS SSB Process

The Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted in two phases- the first stage is the written examination and the second is the SSB interview. This examination comes under UPSC and the examination of all the three forces is under this. If the candidate is successful in the written test then he/she is called for SSB interview.
