CRPF Physical Test Details 2023

The Physical Test for CRPF is an important stage in the selection process. It comprises two main parts: the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PST evaluates whether the candidate meets the CRPF’s prescribed physical standards, while the PET involves practical on-ground tests to evaluate the candidate’s physical fitness through various sports and activities. Qualifying these tests is essential to proceed with the CRPF Recruitment.

CRPF Height for Physical Test Details

After successfully passing the written examination, candidates progress to the CRPF Physical Test. This Physical Standards Test (PST) administered by CRPF involves a set of evaluations including height and chest measurements to check the physical fitness of candidates. Both male and female candidates undergo this examination as part of the selection process. The criteria that candidates must meet in order to pass the CRPF Physical Test are listed below.

CRPF Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who successfully clear the CRPF Physical Standards Test proceed to the next stage, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In this phase, both male and female candidates are required to participate in a series of physical or sports activities, showcasing their fitness and strength. The test includes completing a race of specified kilometers within a defined time. To pass this round, candidates must meet all eligibility criteria set forth by the CRPF. The table below provides detailed information about the CRPF Physical Efficiency Test.

Physical Efficiency Test – For Civil (Male only). Do Not carry any marks but of a qualifying nature.

Note –

• Weight for male & female will be considered proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
• Those candidates who are declared not qualified in the Physical Standards Test may prefer an appeal the authority present on the PST ground. The decision of the authority will be final and no further appeal or representation in this regard will be entertained.

CRPF Height and Chest Relaxations

For candidates belonging to specific categories, there are provisions for relaxations in the prescribed physical standards, particularly in terms of CRPF Height and Chest measurements. The official notification outlines the specific details of these relaxations, which may vary based on the category of the candidate. These relaxations are designed to ensure a fair assessment and consideration for candidates from diverse backgrounds. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for detailed information regarding the relaxations in Height and Chest measurements.

Documents Required for CRPF Physical Test

Candidates who successfully clear both the Physical Standards Test and the Physical Efficiency Test will proceed to the next step of selection process which is a Document Verification round. During this verification process, candidates are required to present the following documents for scrutiny:

• Two colored printouts of CRPF Admit Card for the Physical Test.
• Valid Photo ID proof.
• Matriculation or Class 10th Secondary Examination Certificate.
• Educational Certificates and Marksheets.
• Domicile Certificate.
• Certificate from serving defense personnel in the prescribed format.
• Caste Certificate (if applicable).
• Certificate from candidates seeking relaxation.
• Experience Letter (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (if already employed by the government).
