1. NCC Special Entry

NCC entry is based on direct SSB interview and the marks obtained in NCC C certificate.

Educational Qualification

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:
Graduate with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively. Such students will need to secure an overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks if selected in the interview, failing which their candidature will be CANCELLED.

The candidate should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC and should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:

Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. NCC ‘C’ certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties

UES

UES entry is for engineering graduates , Cadets through UES entry are inducted into army or navy as officers , the officers are granted permanent commission.

Educational Qualification

Candidates studying in the Pre-Final of the Engineering Course in recognized Universities/ Institutions/Colleges in the subjects mentioned in above will be eligible to apply but must possess the educational qualification at the time of joining training or produce the proof of having obtained the educational qualification within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army.

Army HQ reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut of percentage of marks for the SSB interview based on aggregate percentage marks scored by the candidates in the first two years of the engineering degree course.

Exam pattern is same here , shortlisting followed by SSB interviews and Medicals, the candidates making it to the final merit list will be selected.

TGC (Technical Graduate Course)

Unmarried Male Engineering Graduates  are inducted into Technical Graduate Course at Indian Military Academy(IMA), Dehradun for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Educational Qualification for Applying.

Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of Engg degree course should be able to submit proof of passing Engg Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all
semesters/years by 01 Jan 2022 and produce the Engg Degree Certificate within 12 weeks
from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA). Such
candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at
IMA as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they
fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.

Exam pattern is same here , shortlisting followed by SSB interviews and Medicals, the candidates making it to the final merit list will be selected.

SSC Tech Entry

SSC tech entry is conducted for enrolment of Short Service Commission (Tech) Men and Short Service Commission (Tech) Women into officer ranks in armed forces.

Educational Qualification

Exam pattern is same here , shortlisting followed by SSB interviews and Medicals, the candidates making it to the final merit list will be selected.

TEC

Technical entry scheme is essentially for the male candidates having appeared in JEE Mains Exam , here again no written exam is conducted , the selection is made on the basis of SSB Interview

Educational Qualification

(i) Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a
minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from
recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry. Eligibility condition for
calculating PCM percentage of various state /central boards will be based on marks
obtained in Class XII only.
Note : Candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List
(CRL) only in the application

JAG Entry
