The Selection Process for MHA IB Security Assistant (SA) and MTS Recruitment 2023 consists of the following phases:
- Tier-I Written Exam (Objective)
- Tier-II Written Exam (Descriptive)
- Local Language Test (For SA Only)
- Interview
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Tier-I (Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) – Written Exam (Objective)
- Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each.
- 5 parts are as follows – General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Numerical/analytical / Logical ability & reasoning, English language & General Studies
- There will be a Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer
Tier-II (Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) – Written Exam (Descriptive)
- Offline Exam of Descriptive type will be conducted :
Translation of a passage of 500 words from a local language/dialect to English and vice versa. - On the basis of performance & normalization of marks in the Tier-I exam, qualified candidates of the respective post would be shortlisted for Tier-II at 10 times the number of vacancies.
Part of Tier-II (for SA/Exe only) –
- Candidates who successfully clear the written exam are then called for a language proficiency test.
- The language proficiency test is conducted for the Security Assistant position only.
- This test assesses the candidate’s ability to read, write, and speak the language of the region where they will be employed. Candidates who fail to clear this test will not be considered for the position.
Tier-III – Document and Medical Examination
- The interview is conducted to assess the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and suitability for the position.
- The interview is usually conducted by a panel of experts from the IB.
The final stage in the IB selection process is the document verification process and Medical Examination.
