Candidates must successfully clear through each of these four stages to be considered for the Indian Coast Guard selection process.

Indian Coast Guard Selection Process Stage 2

In the Indian Coast Guard selection process, only candidates who achieve the specified cutoff marks in the written examination are eligible to participate in the Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Physically challenged candidates are not allowed to take the exam.

  • Submission of Original Documents, Police Verification, and Other Associated Forms: Candidates may be required to submit their original documents and undergo police verification, along with completing any additional forms or formalities necessary for the recruitment process.

Indian Coast Guard Selection Process Stage 4

Candidates who successfully pass Stage III and are included in the merit list based on available vacancies will be provisionally selected for training at INS Chilka. However, this provisional selection is confirmed upon the submission of all their original documents. The Indian Coast Guard will conduct a thorough verification of these original documents through respective Boards/Universities/State government authorities.

If any of the submitted documents are found to be invalid or incorrect during this verification process, the candidate’s candidature may be canceled. It is essential for candidates to ensure that all their submitted documents are genuine and in order to secure their position.
