Indian Army has invited all the Sports enthusiasts who have participated in the International/ Junior or Senior National Championship/ Khelo India Games/ Youth Games to join the Indian Army. Both Male and Female Candidates can apply for the post of Naib Subedar and Havildar in the Indian Army. The Recruitment will be done under Sports Quota in the Indian Army for the outstanding Sportsperson. Interested Candidates can Submit the application form from 1 June 2024 till the last date of 30 September 2024.

Indian Army has released the Online Notification to appear in the recruitment of outstanding sportsperson as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar Sports intake 2/2024 under Sports Quota. Candidates fulfilling all the conditions have to apply Offline with all the Mandatory documents at the Official Address given by the Indian Army. Candidates have to take the print of the form given PDF and have to submit it along with other necessary documents to the official address of Army Sports Control board.
The Indian Army wants to recruit unmarried Indian men and women who have excelled in sports. They’re looking for athletes who have competed at the international level or in national championships, Khelo India Games or Youth Games between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2024. These athletes will have the opportunity to join the Indian Army directly as Havildar and Naib Subedar in various sports disciplines.

Indian Army Havildar and Naib Subedar 2024 Selection Process
Candidates interested in joining the Indian Army through Sports Quota should know the selection process details. The Application form will have to submitted Offline. Candidates will be short listed after checking all the documents submitted by them. The vacancies will be filled on the basis of higher sports achievements by the candidate. Selected Candidates will be notified through an email.

- Age Requirement: Applicants should be between 17 ½ to 25 years old.
- Date of Birth Range: Candidates born between October 1, 1999, and September 30, 2006, are eligible.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum requirement is matriculation (10th grade).
- Sports Achievements:
- Must have won medals at junior or senior level while representing their state in national competitions, or represented the country internationally (individual sport).
- Should have represented their state or country in national or international competitions at the junior or senior level (team sport).
- Must have won medals in Khelo India Games & Youth Games or higher.

- Age Requirement:
- Candidates must be between 17 ½ to 25 years old.
- They should have completed 17 ½ years on the first day of enrollment and must not be older than 25 years on the last day of enrollment.

- Individual must have won any medal in World Championship or Asian Championships.
- Individual must have won any medal in Asian Games.
- Individual must have won any medal in Commonwealth Games or World Cup.
- Represented India twice in Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or World Cup.
- Represented India in the Olympics.
