The Indo-Tibetan Border Police has released the Notification for the recruitment of Constable/ Tradesman ( Tailor, Cobbler, Barber, Safai Karamchari, and Gardener). Both Male and Female candidates aged 18 to 25 years old can apply for the post of Tradesman/ Constable. The application process will be started from 20th July for Tailor/ Cobbler and for Barber, Safai Karamchari and Gardener the application process will begin on the date of 28th July 2024. Male candidates have to pay the Application Fee of  Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). Fees will be exempted for Females, Ex-servicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.

ITBP Tradesman 2024 Eligibility Criteria

ITBP has invited candidates for the post of Tradesman, only candidates who are aged between 18 to 20 years are eligible to apply. Candidates must have passed the 10th Standard and have experience of two years.

ITBP Tradesman Selection Process

The selection process for the Constable (Tradesman) recruitment at Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) comprises several stages to ensure thorough evaluation of candidates:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates will undergo tests to assess their physical fitness and endurance as per the specified standards.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): This stage involves measurements such as height, chest (for male candidates), and weight to ensure candidates meet the prescribed physical standards.
3. Document Verification: All necessary documents, including educational certificates, experience certificates, identity proof, etc., will be verified to authenticate the candidate’s eligibility.
4. Written Examination: Candidates who qualify the PET and PST will appear for a written examination. The exam will assess candidates’ knowledge and aptitude in relevant subjects as per the syllabus provided.
5. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME): Candidates who clear the written examination will undergo a comprehensive medical examination to ascertain their medical fitness for the role. This may include various tests and assessments by medical professionals.

ITBP Tradesman 2024 Salary

The position is for Non-Ministerial roles on a temporary basis, with the likelihood of becoming permanent within the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF). The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Scale Level-3 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary range from Rs.21,700 to Rs. 69,100 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. It’s important to note that candidates may be required to serve in any location within India or abroad. Prospective applicants are strongly advised to thoroughly review the eligibility criteria before applying to avoid any potential disappointment during the selection process.

ITBP Tradesman Syllabus and Exam Pattern for 2024

The written examination for this recruitment consists of 50 marks and will feature objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The pattern of the written test, whether it will be OMR-based or Computer Based Test (CBT), will be decided by ITBPF. Below is the structure of the question paper:
