Spamming: All the unsolicited mails or messages sent in bulk by email is known as Spamming. These are also known as Junk Mails or Email Spam. Since 1990s, email spamming has grown significantly and it is estimated that by 2014 it accounted for around 90% of total email traffic. These email spam messages are mostly commercial in nature. But sometimes they are sent for phishing purpose that they contain links that lead to phishing web sites or sites that are hosting malware or include malware as file attachments.
