The 68th National Film Awards winners list has been announced on July 22, 2022 at National Media Centre in New Delhi. The prestigious National Film Awards were launched in 1954 and are organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals which falls under Information and broadcasting ministry of Indian government.

Notably, the 68th National Film Awards event awarded films from 2020 in several different categories as they are being conducted after a gap of two years due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic..

10-member panel for the 68th National Film Awards met with Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur  to present the results. Chairman of jury was filmmaker Vipul Shah.
