Aspirants for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) can visit the official Indian Army website to view their SSB Interview schedules. The dates for the NDA 153rd course and NA 115th course are now available online. Those who passed the written test for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy can now see their interview schedules.
NDA 1 2024 SSB Interview Date Out
The SSB interview date selection window opened on 7 June 2024, on the official website. Candidates must choose their interview date by 14 June 2024, before 1500 Hrs. It’s important to select a suitable date promptly to adequately prepare for the SSB Interview, an essential step towards the Academy.

What is SSB Interview?
SSB Interview is a Method adopted by the Armed Forces to Select the Potential Candidate who can be turned into a Leader in the Armed forces. SSB Interview is a 5 day Process in which the Officer like Quality of candidate is accessed.
Factor – I (Planning and Organising)
Factor – II (Social Adjustment)
Factor – III (Social Effectiveness)
Factor – IV (Dynamic)
In the 5 Day Process, The first day will be the Screening day, The OIR Test and PPDT Test is conducted on the First day. Candidates are accessed on the basis of both and It is decided whether they will be Screened In or Screened Out. The Screened Out candidates are sent home, and Other are kept on the SSB Center.
The Second Day is the Psychology Test, There are five tests that are conducted by the psychologist to test to assess the Potential of candidate in Decision Making, Reaction to Situations and other things. The SRT, WAT, TAT, SDT.
On the Third and Fourth Day, The Group Tasks are organised by the GTO officer. These are the group tasks that test the Social adaptability and Dynamic Nature of the Candidates. There are 9 GTO Tasks:-
- Group Discussion
- Group Planning Exercises
- Snake Race
- Progressive Group Task
- Half Group Task
- Individual Obstacles
- Lecturettes
- Command Task
- Final Group Task
Personal Interview of the Candidate are conducted by The IO( Interviewing Officer). These are started from 2nd day onwards only and goes on till the last day.
The last day is the Conference day, Candidates faces the Board of Conference where all the Interviewing Officer, Group Task Officer and Psychologist all come together with other Board Member. It is the day in which the fate of candidate is decided by the Board. Candidates who are selected after the 5 day intense Interview are Recommended by the Board and who are not selected are Conferenced Out.
