PM Narendra Modi to Provide 71,000 Appointments Letters in Employment Fair in Bhopal

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Prime Minister Modi will distribute appointment letters to selected candidates through Video Conferencing. During this event, he will also deliver a speech addressing the newly appointed individuals. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, will also participate in the program.

These recruits have been chosen from all over the country for various central government positions. The PMO stated in a release, “The Rozgar Mela is expected to serve as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide significant opportunities for the youth to empower themselves and contribute to national development.”

Additionally, the appointed individuals will have the opportunity to undergo training through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online orientation course designed for new appointees in different government departments.

The first employment fair took place on October 22, 2022, where 75,000 newly selected personnel received their appointment letters. The second recruitment drive occurred on November 22, 2022, with 71,000 appointment letters distributed. The third fair was held on January 20, 2023, and saw the issuance of 71,000 appointment letters. On April 13, 2023, the fourth fair took place, with another 71,000 appointment letters handed out.

These employment fairs will be organized across 45 centres in 22 states.

The new recruits, selected from across the country, will be recruited on various positions/posts like Gramin Dak Sevaks, Inspector of Posts, Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Junior clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Accounts Clerk, Track Maintainer, Assistant Section Officer, Lower Division Clerk, Sub Divisional Officer, Tax Assistants, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspectors, Nursing Officers, Assistant Security Officers, Fireman, Assistant Accounts officer, Assistant Audit officer, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Commandant, Principal, Trained Graduate Teacher, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor, among others.
