SSB Physical Test Details 2023
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the Admit Cards for various recruitment exams, including Tradesman, Head Constable (HC), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) positions. The objective of this recruitment drive is to fill 1656 vacant positions. Candidates who have successfully completed the application process can now download their SSB Admit Cards from the official SSB website. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for SSB Non-GD Posts are scheduled to commence on September 29, 2023. SSB Physical Test Overview
The Physical Eligibility Test and the Physical Standard test for the SSB will start from 29th of September 2023. For that, SSB Admit Card 2023 has been released on SSB official website. Let’s have an overview of the SSB exam:

Sashastra Seema Bal Selection Process 2023
The selection process for the SSB Constable will comprise of the following.
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Physical Standard Test
- Written Test
The selection will be made serial wise. The Physical Efficiency Test or PET will be the first stage. The second stage will be the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the ones who will qualify both the PET and PST will undergo the Written Test.

SSB Constable Tradesman PET
It is the first stage of the selection process. It will include a race for male and female candidates.

Note: Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET. However, they will have to appear in the other recruitment stages.
SSB Constable Physical Standard Test
Candidates who will qualify the SSB PET will be called for the PST. The height and weight for the physical standard test for all the posts are given below.

Important considerations for height and chest relaxation for SSB Constable candidates are as follows:
- If candidates wish to request relaxation in height and chest measurements, they must provide a community certificate issued by the relevant District Authorities.
- Candidates should maintain a weight that corresponds appropriately with their height and age.
- Weight alone will not result in disqualification during the Physical Standard Test (PST). However, candidates who are significantly over or underweight will face disqualification during the detailed medical examination (DME).
SSB Constable Written Exam
The written exam for SSB Constable follows these key points:
- Eligibility for Written Exam: Candidates who successfully clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will qualify to take the written test.
- Exam Format: The exam format is given below:
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Total Marks: 100 marks
- Question Type: The exam comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
