Top 10 Strongest Air Forces of the World

The World Directory of Modern Military Aircraft (WDMMA) website ranks the Armed Forces of the world. According to The EurAsian Times, The World Directory of Modern Military Aircraft (WDMMA) website has just ranked the Indian Air Force 3rd strongest worldwide in 2022. In their report, the overall combat abilities of various air forces around the world are assessed and after that, they are ranked on the basis of that assessment.

A scoring formula is given to these forces which is also called TrueValueRating (TvR), which depends on the overall combat strength of the air forces of different nations considering different factors such as modernization, attack power, and defence capacity

As per the report, The Indian Air Force ranks higher than China’s regional rivals, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the Israeli Air Force, and the French Air and Space Force. Indian Air Force has a total of 1,645 operational aircraft in its arsenal.

While India welcomed the WDMMA rankings, Chinese netizens disagreed with this ranking and questioned the capabilities of the Indian Air Force as well as the WDMMA rankings.

Strongest Air Forces of the World 

1. United States Air Force

Maintaining the feat, the Air Force of the United States of America ranks no. 1 in the world by an exceptional margin. As per the reports, by 2021, the United States Air Force (USAF) is comprised of 5217 active aircraft, making it the largest, the most technologically evolved, and the most powerful air fleet in the world. 6. Israeli Air Force

9. South Korean Air Force
