APSC JE Vacancy 2024

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released 80 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) for the candidates who have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The vacancies for general category students are 44 in the state and the rest of the seats are reserved for the candidates. The candidates selected in this exam will be posted as Junior Engineer (Mechanical) under the joint cadre of the Public Works Roads Department and Public Works (Bdg &NH) Department.

APSC JE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria of Assam State Public Commission Junior Engineer (APSC JE) should be clear to all the aspirants applying for the exam. They should have a three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a valid institute. They should be a citizen of India and must carry the domicile proof of Assam State to validate their permanent residence of Assam State.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification required by this exam is depicted below –

1. The candidate must have a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical institute recognized by the Government.
2. The Diploma must be a regular course. Diploma courses obtained through Distance Mode of Education will not be accepted.
3. Knowledge of at least one official language of Assam apart from English among the languages Assamese, Bengali, or Bodo is a necessity.
