BHEL Engineer Trainee & Supervisor Trainee 2025 Selection Process
According to the notification released by BHEL, the selection process for Engineer Trainee positions will begin with a Computer-Based Examination (CBE). Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their CBE scores and the number of available vacancies. The shortlisting will follow a 1:5 ratio, with candidates selected in order of merit within each discipline and category. The final merit list will be created by giving 75% weightage to the CBE score and 25% weightage to the interview score.
For the Supervisor Trainee positions, candidates will also need to appear for the Computer-Based Examination (CBE). Based on their CBE performance, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification. Shortlisting will occur in a 1:3 ratio to the number of vacancies in each category. The Document Verification/Scrutiny stage is the second step of the selection process. All candidates who are shortlisted for this stage must attend and complete it, as it is a mandatory requirement to be considered for the final merit list.
