CEL Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria of Central Electronics Limited consists of the Minimum Educational Qualification requirement and age limit for all the posts mentioned in the vacancy table. Candidates are requested to check all details of the eligibility criteria before deciding to fill up the application form in the eligibility table given below. The educational qualifications and experience are highlighted for all the posts.

Sr. Manager (HR)/Manager (HR) The candidate should be a Graduate along with an MBA/PGP/PGDM (02 Years) in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification such as 02 years
degree/diploma in Labour Welfare/ Industrial Relations /Social Work etc. with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
He/She should have a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in HR/IR functions.
A degree in Law is desirable.
Candidate with 09 years of post qualification
experience shall be eligible for Manager (HR).
Assistant Technical Manager (Microwave) The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech Degree in
Electronics/Electronics &
Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication
Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a
recognized Institute/ University.
He/She should have a minimum 06 years of postqualification industrial experience (minimum of 04
years of post-qualification industrial experience for
candidates having M.E/M.Tech. Degree) in design
and development of Microwave components, subsystems, systems, etc.OR
Candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant area without any post-qualification experience will be eligible for
the post
Assistant Technical Manager (SPD) The candidate should have BE/B.Tech Degree in
Electronics/Electronics & Communication/
Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics &
Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 55%
marks from a recognized Institute/University.
He/She should have a minimum 06 years of post
qualification of industrial experience in embedded
system and hardware design; designing, testing
and simulation of electronics circuits; designing &
testing of printed circuit board (PCB) and the ability to
involve and carry out documentation throughout the
product development lifecycle.
Desirable:
Preference will be given to candidates having the
following certificates :
(i) An ISO 9001:2015 certified auditor for quality
management systems.
(ii) An ISO 22163 certified auditor (Indian Railway
International Standards) for quality management
systems in the rail industry.
(iii) Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
Deputy Engineer (SPD) The candidate should have BE/B.Tech Degree in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics &
Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized Institute/University.
He/She should have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification industrial experience in embedded system and hardware design; designing, testing, and simulation of electronics circuits; designing & testing of printed circuit board (PCB), and the ability to involve and carry out documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
OR
Candidates, who have passed M.E./M.Tech
A degree in Electronics Engineering/Integrated Embedded Systems (without any post-qualification experience) will be eligible for the post.
Desirable:
Preference will be given to candidates having the following certificates :
(i) An ISO 9001:2015 certified auditor for quality management systems.
(ii) An ISO 22163 certified auditor (Indian Railway
International Standards) for quality management
systems in the rail industry.
(iii) Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
Deputy Engineer (Microwave) The candidate should have a B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with
minimum 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
He/She should have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification industrial experience in the design and development of Microwave components, subsystems systems, etc.
OR
Candidates with M.E./M.Tech. A degree in a relevant area (without 02 years of qualification experience) will be eligible for the post.
Preferable:
(i) Proficiency in working on the Design and simulation of 2D/3D tools like ADS, HFSS, AWR, etc.
(ii) Proficiency in working on mathematical programming languages like MATLAB etc.
(iii) Experience in handling of Microwave
components/Devices
(iv) Exposure to programming techniques including FPGA etc.
(v) Knowledge of defense and airborne standards, documentation, and testing as per customer requirement covering active phased array radar
applications etc.
Deputy Engineer (MED) The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
He/She should have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in quality control and should know quality tools and application of quality tools.
The candidate should know about component design using AUTOCAD,
SOLIDWORKS and Knowledge of General dimensions & Tolerances, mechanical & production drawings.
Deputy Engineer (Civil) The candidate should have BE/B. Tech Degree in Civil engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a
recognized Institute / University.
He/ She should have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience in the execution of civil work.
The candidate should have knowledge of the methodology and operating procedure of rehabilitation, retrofitting, and strengthening works.
Desirable
M.E./M.Tech Degree in civil engineering from a recognized Institute/ University.
Deputy Engineer (SSG) on Contract Basis The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication/ Computers/ Electrical/ Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 55% marks from a
recognized Institute/University.
He/She should have a minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in marketing/project management of Security Surveillance Systems,
IT/Networking solution and should be ready to work at sites also.
Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA/ M.Tech/PG Diploma in Marketing Management
from a recognized institute/university.
Deputy Engineer (IT) on Contract Basis The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Computer  Science with a minimum of 55% marks from
recognized Institute/University.
He/She should have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience in IT/Networking solutions and be ready to work at sites also.
Deputy Engineer (MED) on Contract Basis The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Metallurgy/Materials Science/Ceramic Engineering
with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
He/She should have a minimum of 02 years post-qualification experience relevant to the above fields of study.
OR
Candidates, who have passed M.E/M.Tech Degree in Metallurgy/Materials Science/Ceramic
Engineering or equivalent disciplines (without 02 years post-qualification experience) will be eligible
for the post.
Desirable:
(i) Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in research laboratories or industries.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of advanced characterization
techniques of materials.
(iii) He/She should have excellent written, and verbal communication, presentation skills, and proficiency
in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
(iv) Should be highly organized, self-driven, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) on contract The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
The candidate should know about component design using AUTOCAD,
SOLIDWORKS.
Candidate should know General dimensions & Tolerances, mechanical & production
drawings.
Graduate Engineer Trainee (Metallurgy/Materials Science/Ceramic) The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Metallurgy/Materials Science/Ceramic Engineering
with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
Graduate Engineer Trainee (ECE) The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with
minimum 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
