CPCB Selection Process
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) selects experienced engineering professionals through a structured process. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the Written Exam and Interview based on merit lists prepared for each category and post. These lists will be made according to the cut-off marks set under the Central Pollution Control Board Recruitment Process. A national-level merit list will be prepared by considering the marks scored in the written exam and overall performance. For the post of Scientist ‘B’, the final selection will be based on 85% weightage for the written test and 15% for the interview.
