CSL Selection Process 2024
According to the recent notification issued by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), the selection process for the positions of Fabrication Assistant and Outfit Assistant will be conducted in two phases:
- Objective-type online test: the first phase of the selection process is an Objective Type Online Test, which will last for 35 minutes. This test will consist of 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), divided into two parts. Part A will cover general topics and will be worth 10 marks, while Part B will focus on trade-specific knowledge and is worth 20 marks. Each question carries one mark, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Practical Test: candidates who qualify for the online test will proceed to the Practical Test, which is designed to assess their hands-on skills and expertise related to the Fabrication and Outfit Assistant roles. This test will be of 70 marks.
CSL Salary 2024
Candidates who successfully pass both rounds of the selection process will be offered a monthly salary of Rs. 23,300. In addition to the base salary, they will also be eligible for compensation for any extra hours worked, which can amount to up to Rs. 5,830 per month.
