CSL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2022

Educational Qualification

The candidates should possess the below essential qualification in order to apply for the CSL Apprentice 2022:

Graduate Apprentice	A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University/Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above. For the universities offering it is required to calculate the percentage from the formula of CGPA conversion defined. If in case the formula is not defined then multiply CGPA by 10 to get the percentage of marks.
Technician(Diploma) Apprentice	A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a university/ State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in a relevant discipline. For Commercial Practice: A Diploma in Commercial Practice granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government.

Age Limit

The candidate should be above 18 years to apply for CSL Recruitment 2022 for the 143 apprentice vacancy.

CSL Apprentice Selection Process 2022

The candidates will be selected as Graduate/ Diploma Apprentices in Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), based on the percentage of marks obtained by them in the essential qualification. The Apprentice selection for CSL Recruitment 2022 will be conducted in the following stages:

CSL Apprentice Stipend 2022

The candidate selected for undergoing one year of Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 through CSL Recruitment 2022 gets the monthly stipend as given below:

Graduate Apprentice: Rs.12,000/-

Technician(Diploma) Apprentice: Rs.10,200/-
