GAIL Selection Process- Overview

GAIL Selection Process 2024
Candidates will have to score well in the written test conducted by GAIL for various posts announced in the notification. Candidates also need to pass the skill test/trade test which will be qualifying in nature. The first stage of selection will be passing the cut-off of the written test. Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for skill tests. Candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be called for the skill test. It means five candidates for one post considering the reservation norms.

- Written Test- The written test will comprise 100 Marks. Each Correct question will carry 1 Mark. There will be no negative mark in the paper. The subjects of the written test will consist of Reasoning and General Intelligence, General Awareness, Aptitude, English, and Technical Subjects. Candidates have to score 40 % Minimum Marks to clear cut-offs for the UR Category.
- Skill Test- Skill Test will be qualifying in nature and candidates will be selected in 5:1 for the skill test. Skill test will evaluate the candidate’s technical hands-on skills.
