Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board is inviting applications for 1045 posts of Junior Engineers in Civil and Mechanical. The candidates who have applied or are planning for JKSSB JE Apply Online 2022 should know the selection scheme decided by the recruitment authority. The key highlights of JKSSB JE Selection Process 2022 can be understood by the following points:

Written Test

The JKSSB will conduct the exam as per the scheme given below. The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Written Examination.

• JKSSB JE Exam 2022 will consist of 120 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) in English Only.
• Each question will be of one mark.
• 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
• The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the written exam.
• For the candidates who have benchmark disabilities in the category of blindness, locomotor disability (both arm affected-BA), and cerebral palsy, the facility of a scribe will be provided but its qualification should be one step below the minimum qualification.

Document Verification

The candidates who will qualify for the JKSSB JE Exam 2022 will be called for document verification along with the original and one set of self-attested copies of the following documents:

• Marks sheet(s)/Diploma/Degree(s) of the essential qualification.
•  DoB/Matriculate Certificate.
• Order/letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications (if claimed).
• Caste/Category Certificate (if belongs to reserved categories)
• Domicile Certificate.

The candidate should also bring two passport-size recent color photographs along with any one of the following Photo ID Proofs while appearing for the Document Verification:

• Aadhaar Card/Printout of E-Aadhaar
• Voter ID Card
• Driving License
• PAN Card
• Passport
• School/College/University I Card
• Employer ID Card (Govt./PSU/ Private), etc

Note: If any candidate is found indulging in any irregularity/ misconduct/ malpractice at any stage of the selection process, he/she will be debarred from any of the Services Selection Board Examination.
