The Selection Process of MSCWB SAE 2023 for the post of Sub Assistant Engineer is mainly in two stages :-

1. Written Test 

• There will be asking a total 100 Questions in this Exam .
• Each Question carry 2 marks , which contains Total 200 marks of Written Exam .
• The pattern of Questions are mainly in Objective Type Based (MCQ)
• There will be also a negative marking schema , in which 01 marks are deducted for each wrong answer .
• The Duration of Exam will be 2 Hrs. only.

2. Personality Test 

• Those candidates who cleared the Written Test will appear for the personality test.
• Personality Test will be held  at the Commission’s office in the state of Kolkata only
• About 3 times of no. of vacancies of  candidates will be called for Personality Test on the basis of obtaining qualifying marks in Written test  such as 45% for UR, 40 % for O.B.C (A) & O.B.C(B) , 35% for SC/ST & P.H Candidates .

The Final Merit List will be released on the basis of  Written Test & Personality Test (Both).

Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification stage and Medical Examination and then the joining procedure execute further.
