NSPCL Vacancies Selection Process 2025
As outlined in the notification PDF, the selection process for the NSPCL Technical Assistant position will consist of two stages: a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a Skill Test.
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The CBT will consist of 120 questions. Of these, 40 questions will cover general topics such as General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning, while the remaining 80 questions will be discipline-specific, related to the trade. The minimum qualifying marks for the CBT are 40%. The exam will have a duration of 2 hours, and each correct answer will earn 1 mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score.
Stage 2: Skill Test
Based on the performance in the CBT, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise in a 1:5 ratio for the skill test, which will be conducted in the second stage. Please note that the skill test is qualifying in nature, and candidates must secure a minimum of 40% to pass. However, the marks obtained in the skill test will not contribute to the final selection score.
Candidates who successfully clear both stages will be considered for further recruitment processes.
