OSSC Exam Age Limit
According to the notification issued by OSSC, candidates must be between 21 to 38 years old to be eligible for the recruitment. However, age relaxation apply to certain categories. A relaxation of 5 years is available for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST, and all women applicants, while candidates in the PwD category are entitled to a 10-year age relaxation. Additionally, Ex-servicemen are granted an age relaxation based on the total duration of their service in the defense forces. Candidates who fall under both the PwD and SC/ST categories will receive a combined age relaxation of up to 10 years. To qualify for these age relaxations, candidates must have been born between 2nd January 1986 and 1st January 2003. This ensures that eligible candidates from various backgrounds have the opportunity to apply for the position.
