The nationality criteria for candidates applying for the Junior Engineer exam at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) are as follows:

A candidate must be one of the following:

  • A citizen of India.
  • A subject of Nepal.
  • A subject of Bhutan.
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, to permanently settle in the country.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or any East African country, including Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam, with the intent to permanently settle in India.

RBI Junior Engineer Age Limit

The age limit for candidates applying for the RBI Junior Engineer exam is between 20 to 30 years. Specifically, candidates should not have been born before 2nd December 1994, and not later than 1st December 2004.
