SSC JE Recruitment 2024 Application Form
The online application for the SSC JE 2024 has been over now. The last date to apply for this exam ended on 18th April. The exam dates for Paper I were initially scheduled for 4 June 2024 but because of the counting day of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the exam dates of the SSC JE exam are 5 June to 7 June 2024 as mentioned above in this article.

SSC JE Application Process
Interested candidates should follow these steps for an easy application process for SSC JE 2024:
Step 1: Go to the official SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in/).
Step 2: Open the registration link for SSC JE in a new window.
Step 3: Click on the “New User/Register Now” link.
Step 4: Provide basic details like name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 5: Submit the online registration form. Make sure to verify all details before submission. You’ll receive a Registration ID.
Step 6: Upload your photograph and signature according to SSC guidelines.
Photograph: Taken against a white or light-colored background, size between 4 kb and 12 kb, resolution of 100*120 pixels.
Signature: Black or blue ink on a white sheet, scanned copy in jpg format, size between 1 kb and 12 kb, resolution of 40*60 pixels.
Step 7: Log in with your registered ID and password to complete Part II of the application form.
Step 8: Preview the entire application for any errors before final submission. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited.
Step 9: Click on “Final Submit” and pay the required application fee online via Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards, BHIM, UPI, etc.
Step 10: It’s recommended to download and print copies of the submitted application form for SSC JE 2024.
SSC JE 2024 Application Fee
The application fee for the candidates applying for the SSC JE is very minimal. While the application fee for the general category is Rs 100, the fees for all other categories like SC/ST /PwD and even the fees for female students are Nil. The candidates can either pay the application fees online (through Credit, Debit Cards, UPI, and Net Banking) or Offline (through SBI Branch Challan). Nationality
The applicants should be citizens of any of the below-mentioned regions. They are eligible to take the exam as per the SSC JE Notification 2024 if they fulfill any of the criteria of nationality as listed below:

- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or

SSC JE 2024 Exam Pattern
SSC JE 2024 Exam will be conducted in two papers. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in paper 1 and in paper 2 there will be a negative marking of 1 mark.
