The TNPSC Board is going to recruit a total of 626 Candidates from different engineering disciplines through TNPSC CESE Recruitment 2022. The selection process for the examination includes a written examination followed by an interview process. TNPSC CESE Exam Pattern 2022

The TNPSC CESE Exam will have two papers i.e. Paper I & II where the first paper will be of 300 marks and the total duration of the examination will be 3 hours and the topics that’ll be asked will be from the technical domain of the applicant’s specific branch. The Paper II of the examination will be of 200 marks and the duration of the examination will be 2 hours. The questions in paper II will be asked from the topics like general studies and Mental Ability.

TNPSC CESE Exam Pattern 2022: Scheme of Examination

• The Exam will have two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II
• Paper I will be having questions from the subjects based on the technical domain of the appearing candidate.
• Paper II will be having questions on General Studies and Mental Ability.
• The total duration of the examination is 5 hours including 3 hours of paper I and 2 hours of Paper II
• The Combined Total Marks for Paper I and II is 500 including 300 for paper I and 200 for Paper II
• The medium of paper I will be English and Tamil whereas that of paper II will be English only.

TNPSC CESE Minimum Qualifying Marks

The total marks for the examination are 500 out of which the TNPSC Board has decided some minimum qualifying marks for the different candidates belonging to different categories.
