All candidates applying for the TNPSC CTS Recruitment 2026 must be at least 21 years old for all posts. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, MBC/DC, BC(OBCM), and BCM categories do not have any maximum age limit.

Candidates who are eligible for the TNPSC Combined Technical Services (CTS) 2026 recruitment can submit their application form only through the official online portal of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. TNPSC CTS Exam Pattern 2026

The Exam Pattern mainly includes a written examination, and the exam pattern depends on the post applied for:

Paper I (Common for all candidates except Translator posts)

• Exam mode- Offline mode
• Type- MCQ

For Translator Post

The pattern is slightly different:

• Minimum qualifying marks for Paper A: 60 Marks
• Minimum qualifying marks for Paper B, Paper C, and Part II: 75 Marks for reserved category candidates and 100 Marks for other candidates.

The examination fee is Rs. 100/-. Candidates opting for additional subject papers must pay an extra Rs. 100/- for each additional paper selected.
