GPSC Seed Officer Selection Process
To become a Seed Officer, Class-II, candidates need to go through two stages:
- A Preliminary Test and
- An Interview.
GPSC Seed Officer Exam Pattern
First, candidates must pass the Preliminary Test to qualify for the interview. If a candidate scores less than 15% in the Preliminary Test, they will not be considered for the interview.
- The Preliminary Test will be held in Gandhinagar or Ahmedabad, and candidates will need to pay for their travel.
- The test will have 300 questions in total: 100 questions on General Studies worth 100 marks, and 200 questions on the Concerned Subject worth 200 marks.
- The entire test will be for 300 marks and will last 180 minutes.
- The language of the test will be decided by the Commission and shared with the candidates later.
- The Weighted Marks of the Preliminary Test & Interview are calculated as follows: ‐ [Marks obtained in P.T. X 50/300 = Weighted Marks of Primary Test] + [Marks obtained in Interview X 50/100 = Weighted Marks of Interview] = Total Weighted Marks.
