The Forest Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has released the official notification of Chhattisgarh Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 (छत्तीसगढ़  वन रक्षक भर्ती 2024) on the official website at https://forest.cg.gov.in/. CG Forest Guard Recruitment 2024

The CG Forest Guard Exam 2024 will be conducted to recruit eligible for the post of the Forest Guard for which 1484+67 (Driver post). The exam will be conducted in a state-level exam in which thousands of candidates are going to appear in this exam.

The application process has been extended by the Chhattisgarh Forest Department and now it will continue till 1st July (11:59 PM). After the process is complete, candidates will be called for the Written Exam. The exam date for the same will be notified soon.

Steps to Apply for CG Vanrakshak Bharti 2024

Follow the steps given below to apply for the CG Forest Guard Vacancy 2024:

1. Visit the official website of FOREST & CLIMATE CHANGE DEPARTMENT, Chhattisgarh Government @https://forest.cg.gov.in/.
2. Now, on the homepage, go to the Recruitment section, and click on “Advertisement for filling application for direct recruitment to 1484 posts of forest guard’ Or ‘Advertisement for filling application for direct recruitment to the post of driver’ (the post that you want to apply for).
3. Now, make registration and a unique Registration ID and password will be provided to you.
4. After that proceed to the online application form fill up and enter your details that are asked about you in the form.
5. Upload documents and pay the application fee.
6. Now, submit the form and take a print out of it.

CG Forest Guard Application Fees 2024

To apply for the Forest Guard position in the Forest Department of Chhattisgarh, candidates from the General or Other Backward Class categories must pay a fee of ₹350. For those from the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe categories, the fee is ₹250.

CG Forest Guard Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old. For candidates from the OBC category, the maximum age limit is extended by 3 years, and for SC candidates, it is extended by 5 years.

Education Qualifications

Candidates must have completed their 12th-grade education in Science, Commerce, Arts, or Vocational stream from a school affiliated with either CBSE in New Delhi or CGBSE in Raipur.

The selection process for the Forest Guard position includes three stages: a Written Exam, a Physical Efficiency and Standard Test (PET/PST), and Document Verification.

CG Forest Guard Exam Pattern 2024

The exam pattern for the Chhattisgarh Vanrakshak Exam has been discussed here. The exam will be conducted in an offline manner and the questions shall be MCQ type. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. The medium of the exam shall be Bilingual (English and Hindi).

CG Forest Guard Salary 2024

Selected candidates for the Forest Guard position under the Chhattisgarh Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 will receive a salary in pay level 4, which ranges from ₹5200 to ₹20200, with a grade pay of ₹1900.
