The recruitment drive has announced 1318 vacancies to hire eligible candidates for Gujarat High Court, District Courts, Industrial Courts, and Labour Courts. The selection will be based on the Screening Test and Skill Test (as per post) and shall be appointed after due verification of certificates.

You can follow the simple steps given below to apply for the Stenographer, Court Manager, Court Attendant, Driver, DSO, Process Server, etc. in the High Court of Gujarat on NTA Official website @https://exams.nta.ac.in/HCG/.

Step 1: Start by visiting the official website of OJAS/Gujarat High Court website @ojas.gujarat.gov.in/OR @gujarathighcourt.nic.in.

Step 2: Go to Current Jobs and click on the “Apply Now” button corresponding to the name of the post that you want to apply.

Step 3: After clicking, you will be redirected to the NTA website where you need to register first by providing all the essentials details like name, phone number, email id, address, etc.

Step 4: Now, set a personal password for the account and make that it is strong enough and write it down somewhere.

Step 5: After the registration is complete, a unique Registration ID and Password will be sent to you on your registered phone number and email ID.

Step 6: Now, proceed to the application form and upload documents that are mandatory to do so.

Step 7: Fill in all the details and pay the application fee.

Step 8: After due rechecking, submit the application form and take a printout of it and the fee receipt.

Gujarat High Court Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for English and Gujarati Stenographer, Bailiff, Driver, Court Attendant, Court Manager, and Computer Operator posts, candidates are mandatorily required to check their eligibility for the preferred post.

The eligibility criteria mainly include the prescribed age limit, qualifications, and skills possessed by the candidates(stenography). We have discussed the age limit and educational qualification for all the posts below.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit required for the Gujarat High Court Recruitment is 18 years for all the posts whereas the maximum age limit is variable as per the post. But beyond the maximum age, candidates belonging to the reserved category have been provided some age relaxation as per their category and it is mentioned below.

Note that the upper age limit for any candidates belonging to any category should not exceed 45 years. This is same for all the posts.

Qualification for English Steno Grade II

• Graduate in any stream from recognized University.
• Speed of 100 words per minute in English Short Hand.
• Knowledge of Computer Operation.

Qualification for Deputy Section Officer

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
• Passed 10th or 12th grade with English as a subject.
• Possess a certificate demonstrating basic computer knowledge, as specified by the State Government.

Qualification for Computer Operator (IT Cell)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution recognized by Gujarat or Central Government. OR,
•  3-year Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from a Polytechnic recognized by Gujarat or Central Government. OR,
•  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University, plus a one-year Diploma in Data Entry Operation/Computer Application/Computer Programming or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution recognized by Gujarat or Central Government. OR,
• “O” Level Course from DOEACC Society.

Qualification for Driver

• Passed Class-10th from a government-recognized school.
• Valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).

Qualification for Court Attendant

Passed 10th Class SSCE from a recognised Board

Qualification for Court Manager

• Masters’s Degree in Business Administration/Advance Diploma in General Management with a minimum of 55% marks, from any University in India or any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• Experience: 5 years Experience/Training in Systems and Process Management, I.T. Systems Management, HR Management and Financial System Management
• A Court Manager have to be acquainted with the vernacular Language i.e. Gujarati and a certificate regarding basic knowledge of computer.

Qualification for Gujarati Stenographer Grade 2

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• Skills:
  • Speed of 90 words per minute in Gujarati shorthand.
  • Basic computer operation skills as per Government Resolution dated 13/08/2008.
  • Proficiency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi languages.

Qualification for Gujarat Stenographer Grade 3

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• Skills:
  • Speed of 75 words per minute in Gujarati shorthand.
  • Basic computer operation skills as per Government Resolution dated 13/08/2008.
  • Proficiency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi languages.

Qualification for Process Server/Bailiff

• Passed Class-12th or equivalent.
• Knowledge of driving a cycle or two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
• Basic computer knowledge as prescribed by the Government.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi
