KGMU Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who are interested in applying for KGMU Nursing Recruitment 2025 must meet the eligibility criteria given below.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill one of the following qualifications:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC)-recognized institute/university OR
  • B.Sc. (Post Certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institute/university.
  • Registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

OR

  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized institute/university.
  • Registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds after qualifying.

Note: Candidates must produce Uttar Pradesh/Indian Nursing Council registration during document verification.

Age Limit (as of January 01, 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxation (As per UP Govt. Rules)

KGMU Nursing Officer 2025 Exam Pattern

The KGMU Nursing Officer Exam 2025 will be held through a Common Recruitment Test (CRT). The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and can be conducted either online or offline. It includes questions from Nursing subjects, General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude.
