• The minimum qualification of the candidate should be a 10+2 pass, or its equivalent qualification as notified from time to time by CHSE Odisha with Computer proficiency.

The candidate shall be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have:

• Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject or
• Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject; or
• Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class Vll or above; or
• Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.

Computer Proficiency:

The candidates having computer proficiency of ‘O’ level and use of Odia language in Computer are eligible to apply for the post of GRS. ‘O’ level course of the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) (formerly DOEACC) is a foundation level course. The candidates having higher computer qualifications like BCA, PGDCA, MCA, B.Tech (IT/ Computer Science), B.E (IT/ Computer Science) can also apply. Computer proficiency is only qualifying in nature and shall not count for determining the order of merit.
