• Candidates must have passed +2 Arts/Science/Commerce examination or equivalent, with a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand (both English and Odia) and adequate knowledge in Computer application.

Junior Grade Typist

Candidates must have passed the HSC examination or equivalent and possess a certificate in Basic Computer Skill.

Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant

Candidates must have passed +2 in any discipline or an equivalent examination and should have typing knowledge in both English (minimum speed of 40 words per minute) and Odia (minimum speed of 20 words per minute) and possess basic knowledge in Computer Application.

It is mandatory for applicants for Junior Stenographer and Junior Grade Typist/Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant posts to produce the relevant certificate prior to the closing date of the online application.

Age Limit

• For Junior Stenographer positions (EIC, Water Resources & Advocate General) and Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant, candidates must have attained 21 years of age and must not be above 32 years as of 1st January 2025.
• For Junior Stenographer (Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection) and Junior Grade Typist positions, candidates must have attained 18 years of age and must not be above 32 years as of 1st January 2025.
• There is an age relaxation for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST, all Women candidates (by 5 years), PwD category (by 10 years), and Ex-Servicemen (as per service rendered).
