The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CGL 2024 Exam in two tiers for the recruitment of various Group B and Group C posts in multiple departments of the Government of India. SSC CGL Tier I Exam Date
The exam calendar released by the commission on its official website provides the candidates with the tentative date for the Tier I exam. According to this calendar, the SS CGL Tier I Exam 2024 will be conducted in September-October 2024. The exact date for the exam will be released in due course after the official notification is out.

SSC CGL Tier II Exam Date
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam two to three months after the Tier 1 exam. We can estimate that if the CGL Tier 1 exam for 2024 is conducted in September-October, the Tier 2 exam is likely to be conducted in December 2024 – January 2025. The commission generally announces the exact date for the Tier 2 exam in the writeup released along with the Tier 1 Result.
With the new exam pattern in force, the syllabus for both stages of the exam is now more streamlined than before. So, it is advised that the candidates should do a consolidated preparation for the entire selection process.
